An online training on Scope of utilization of 15th FC grant for strenghtening of Agriculture supply chain in Assam was organised by SIPRD Assam in 5th July,2021. The programme was inaugurated by Sri Surajit Borgohain, Jt. Director,SIPRD and briefly discussed about the training. Sri Madhabendra Roy, Regional head of the Selco Foundation discussed about the importance of Solar energy in enhancement of livelihoods in rural India. Sri Putul Bhuyan and Sri Gujajit Sharma from Selco Foundation discussed about the development of cold chain in agri-supply chain and role in increasing farmers income. Sri Haragobinda Boro, Gunajit Sharma and Barsha Das from Selco foundation discussed about the development of infrastructure for agri and allied sector at GP and Block panchayat level and use of solar energy to support development of backyard poultry value chain in Assam. Sri Partha Das and Kangkana Sharma from Selco foundation discussed about the development of infrastructure for common service delivery at GP-e-seva Kendra by using solar power. About 86 participants from Principal,ETC,SIPRD, Incharge DPRC,Faculty member, RP of SIPRD, and GP Presidents took part in the online programme.  Smti Bornali Nath, FM,SIPRD, anchored the programme.
