Honourable Union Minister of State, Rural Development Department, Govt of India, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste attended a departmental review meeting of Panchayat and Rural Development, Govt of Assam at State Institute of Panchat and Rural Development, Kahikuchi campus on 18th August,2021. Honourable Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development,Shri Ranjeet Kumar Dass, also attended the meeting along with the senior officers of the department. Director, SIPRD,Assam Shri Munindra Sharma, ACS, also the Secretary of the P&RD Department welcomed the Union Minister at the Institute with traditional Assamese Gamocha and other gifts prepared by the SHG members of Assam. After the welcome adderess presented by the Director,SIPRD, Shri Munindra Sharma, the Departmental achivements under various flagship schemes implemented in Assam were presented by the Principal secretary of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Dr. J.B Ekka. Senior officers from other departments also attended the meeting.
