A three days training programme is underway at SIPRD H.Q.on Enhancement of Income of PRIs through various Departmental Schemes from 27th to 29th June, 2022. Sri Pabitra Kalita , Joint Director (Training), SIPRD, Assam discussed about Scope for Income generation in Agriculture and Allied sector in Assam during the programme. Mr. Jayanta Saharia, Assistant Research Officer, SIPRD, Assam discussed about  Scope of livelihood through various activities during the programme. Dr.Ranjita Bezbaruah, Scientist, OIC, AICRP on Agroforestry, HRS, AAU, Kahikuchi conducted session on Nursery raising and Poly houses, Dr. Arunima Dev. Choudhury, State Consultant, NFSM, Directorate of Agriculture, Assam conducted session on Scope of doubling income of farmers through Agriculture Departmental Scheme, Sri Ratul Sarma, Information Office, Dept. Of Fishery conducted session on site selection and construction of fish pond/ farm,  Sri Palashmoni Baruah, Rtd. Dy. Director, Dept. Of Agriculture conducted session on Serial base cropping system by organic way during the three Days Training Programme on at SIPRD HQ Khanapara. Dr. Kabya Jyoti Bora, Senior Livestock consultant taken session on Good manage mental practices to be adopted for enhancing profitability in animal husbandry during the Three Days Training Programme on Enhancement of Income of PRIs through various Departmental Schemes at SIPRD, HQ Khanapara.Dr. Nayanjit Deka, Manager, Govt. Poultry farm, Basistha, Guwahati also conducted session on selection of new suitable breed for commercial farming system in animal husbandry sector.
